Post-Holiday Resumption of Work, Market Remains Mostly in Wait-and-See Mode [SMM EMM Daily Review]

[SMM Daily Review on EMM: Gradual Resumption After Holiday, Market Mostly in Wait-and-See Mode] The average spot price of EMM in major production areas was 12,400-12,600 yuan/mt, flat MoM; the average FOB price was $1,700-1,740/mt, also flat MoM. Supply side, EMM plants that had halted production before the holiday gradually resumed operations, while holders maintained firm offers at pre-holiday levels. Market participants mostly adopted a wait-and-see attitude, awaiting post-holiday changes in downstream demand for EMM.

February 5 News: The average spot price of EMM in major production areas was 12,400-12,600 yuan/mt, flat MoM; the average FOB price was $1,700-1,740/mt, also flat MoM.
